San Diego Caricaturist Björn
Björn is a San Diego Caricaturist who has been drawing
Live Caricatures for weddings, parties, corporate events and especial occasions for over 32 years throughout Southern
California. He is Currently the resident Caricaturist at
Sea Port Village in San Diego California, creating memorable artwork and smiles for visitors from around the world.
Björn was featured on the David Letterman Show drawing Barbra
Streisand in 1999. He received his associates degree from the Art
Institute of Seattle in 1990 for commercial advertising. Björn is
also the caricature artist for Hornblower boats and cruises since
2004 and works with many entertainment agencies.

In the past Björn was a portrait artist but later switched to drawing caricatures because its just much more fun to use your imagination and exaggerate those funny features.Most of the techniques Björn learned were self-taught with
influences from Mad Magazine, Mort Drucker and Tom Richmond.
In 2001 and 2002 he attended the ISCA Convention where he learned alot about the caricature business and how fun it is to draw caricatures for a living.
